The Dress
The dress was bought new from Olivelli (now Toujours) in Westville.
It is off-white (winter white) satin underneath with an organza overlay. It is a size 16 but was altered (particularly around the bust) to more of size 14 (maybe smaller). It is a corset type dress so there is a bit of give or take with regards to sizing.
I am 1.62m tall and i was wearing heels on my wedding day and the dress just touched the floor.
The dress had a small tear where i pulled out the button of the pick up by mistake but it has been repaired and is not very noticeable.
The dress has quite a long train and has a pick up so that it is completely off the floor for dancing purposes.
