The Dress

Details: Ivory crepe trumpet gown with layered ruffled organza skirt, strapless, unique deep v sheer cut out on lacy corseted bodice, natural waist, chapel train, lace appliques on bodice and waist

How it felt and fit: The material is incredibly comfortable, it literally felt like wearing yoga pants. I could move and groove but also felt very held in - seriously like yoga pants.

I felt amazing in this dress! Hot. Chic. Classic silhouette with unique and somewhat edgy elements. LOVE this dress and received so many compliments on how beautiful AND unique it is. Years latter I still would not change a thing about it.

Bussle: It will need to be re-bussled because the bussle situation broke that night. But I'll include a photo of it bussled as well.

Though I don't think there is any significant wear and tear, I'm listing it as "good" because I can't be 100% sure because I promptly had it professionally cleaned, preserved, and stored in an air tight box. The company specialized in wedding dress cleaning and preservation and said they'd remove all stains prior to the air tight seal. But, I did wear this on my wedding day and we had very good time celebrating that night so I don't want to mislead anyone into thinking it is brand new and in unused pristine condition.

Alterations

The original dress did not have a deep v sheer cut out but I really loved the look so I had that altered. I also wanted a slightly edgier look so I had them change out the "invisible" zipper on the back and instead had them put in a shiny gold zipper. I also had them alter the location of the lace appliques from the original design.
