This dress is absolutely incredible! I felt like such a princess in this gown...it would be such a shame to let it sit in my cupboard. It has to be worn! The dress is a real wedding dress, dramatic, romantic, and so comfy! I was really surprised at how light the dress is. I bought it as a size 12 but lost weight so got it altered to a size 10. I also added in a bustle. I hand beaded and made the contrast belt...this is not included in the sale of the dress.
The construction of this dress is out of this world. If you are a fashion designer or understand patterns you will really appreciate this masterpiece. Individual stripes of bias cut organza are stitched together like petals creating these ethereal whirls of fabric...the effect is truly breathtaking.
The dress also photographs exceptionally well with the hundreds of layers of organza creating movement and allowing light to pick up on the sheer layers...it looks gorgeous. This was my ultimate dream dress....this genuine Vera Wang from New York could be YOURS too!
