The Dress
We looked at lots and lots of dresses that were less expensive and some that were more expensive. This was by far our favorite. The lace is beautiful -- rich and elegant without being too much. It moves nicely and is a flattering cut. The V-neck is not so low as to be inappropriate, and we had the sash attached to the dress so that it does not have to be tied (too little-girly). The veil is very simple. It can come along with the dress if you wish. Guests oohed and aahed over it.
It made it through the wedding and reception without damage. In fact, the dry cleaner (who specializes in wedding dresses) was very impressed with how clean it was and how it had no picks or tears.
