The Dress

This dress is absolutely unique and one of a kind that nobody else has! Perfectly suited for hourglass shaped women.

As I only had a mere five months to plan my wedding, I didn't have time to get a couture gown made from scratch. I purchased the base design from a Maggie Sottero flagship store as I loved the high lace back ($4,000), and spent an additional $2,000 on custom alterations to transform it , change its entire shape and add the details I wanted to make it into my own dream couture gown. All craftmanship done by a professional wedding dress maker in Leichhardt, Sydney.

That changes that were made include:
- changed the entire shape of the dress from A-line to a sexy, figure hugging, fit and flare/trumpet style that showed off my curves;
- added steeling boning inside the corset to pull the waist in;
- added crustal buttons to the entire back;
- brought up the length to fit me (in heels) - I am a petite 157cm.

It has an in built bra and works as a push up, which really holds you in and flatters the decolletage.

The total I spent on this dress was $6,000 to get the perfect shape.

It is so flattering for women with larger chests and booty. If you are a the classic hourglass shape then this is the dress for you.

Measurements best suited for this dress:
35-37" bust
26-27" waist
35-38" hips

In street wear, I am a size 8 waist with a size 10 chest and size 10 hips - if this helps.

The train is beautiful and long, but not unmanageable.
The craftsmanship of this dress is second to none.

The best thing about it though is truly that nobody else has it in the world!

No flaws
As it poured rain on my wedding :( :( the very inner base layer of the dress at floor length is slightly stained. Has been as best dry cleaned as can be. Obviously, this layer is not noticeable to anyone though.
