The Dress

My wedding gown was custom made by the super talented - Luci diBella from Armadale, Melbourne, and completed in January 2017.

The dress is based on a draped art deco style, with a draped wrap front and low cowl draped back. The beauty of this dress lies in the soft fall of the fabric, and subtle detailing of the under bodice. This boned bodice fits like a glove. Holding everything in place, it ensures you're super comfortable. Again, we chose 1920's / art deco style beading to feature underneath, with the idea of the dress revealing itself slowly.
In essence - it's a simple silhouette with thoughtful detail and layers of interest.

The silk fabric has a tiny amount of stretch in it, which again added to the comfort on the day.

The gown was worn once on February 11, and professionally hand dry cleaned immediately after. It has come up as new.

I am a size 8-10, and the skirt is very easily altered to fit - either bringing in at the hips or shortened in length.

My measurements are:
Height: 179cm (I wore flat sandals on the day)
Bust: 86cm
Waist: 74cm
Hips: 100cm

This gown was an absolute pleasure to wear, and I'm sure will bring great joy to the next lucky lady!
