The Dress
My dream dress was custom made by Alana van Heerden, an absolutely amazing bridal designer in Cape Town. She has an incredible eye for detail and her work is impeccable.
It was made with stretch crepe for the lining, allowing for comfortable movement and dancing; ivory/off-white Corded Chantilly lace for the gown; and Chantilly lace appliqués over nude mesh for the illusion neckline and back. Underneath are a few layers of soft tulle, for subtle flare from the knees. The gown has a meter-long train, and is hemmed with the most beautiful lace finishing.
For improved fit, boning is added to the lining, and runs along the seam from the bust to upper-thigh. This could be easily removed, if preferred.
The gown comes in a full length white bridal gown bag.
No flaws, but buyer may choose to remove or alter boning.
