The Dress
This BT 15-26 (Dress code) by Enzoani (The Beautiful range) was purchased in May 2015 from Bridal Wardrobe at the Lynnwood Bridge branch, Pretoria East. The dress size is a US 6, which translates to a European size 34, a UK size 8 and a South African size 8 or10.
The dress was worn once on 10 October 2015, after which it was taken to Bridal Wardrobe (Lynnwood Bridge branch) to be dry cleaned (They outsource the dry cleaning to a reputable dry cleaner that knows how to work with wedding dress material). The dress is currently hanging in its' original Enzoani zip-up bag.
The silhouette of the dress is an A-line and is made from lace and tulle with bead work on the outer layer. The dress has a small train that can be easily managed. The colour is ivory, but on the eye it looks very white. When compared to a white wedding dress, it only then becomes clear that the dress is ivory of colour. The dress is strapless, has cups worked into the front bodice, as well as a one-shoulder neckline with a medium back exposure.
On the photos provided, the additional belt and veil is not part of the dress and was hired from Bridal Wardrobe, Lynnwood Bridge branch. Also, an additional petticoat was hired for the wedding day the photos were taken and is not part of the this listing (Petticoat was also hired from Bridal Wardrobe, Lynnwood Bridge branch).
In addition to the photos provided, the dress can also be viewed on Bridal Wardrobe's website here: http://www.bridalwardrobe.co.za/product/893/bt15-26
The dress was altered for a flat-standing (no shoes) length of 1.86m. Small heels with a height of approximately 30-40 mm were worn on the day the photos were taken, the dress was barely touching the ground (feet were completely concealed). Additionally, the dress was taken in around the upper body/ bodice as this was too large for the bride. Small clips were added to the underside of the dress so that the dress's train could be clipped up for the reception.
The only visible flaws is tiny threads extending from the lace where the bead work is. This is a constant flaw throughout the outer layer of lace, due to the dry cleaning process. This can easily be rectified by clipping the tiny threads off with a pair of scissors.
