I originally ordered a US size 12, which is equivalent to za size 16, but definitely could have gone with the 8(za 12), so I got it altered by a professional bridal alterer(Robyn Roberts)to what would have probably been a size za 12. I'm tall(6'1), so the length is intact. She sewed cosabella bust cups in so that I would not have to worry about bridal lingerie. She also put darts in the front and back so that the bust fit snug and sewed the side seams in bit. It fit me perfectly. My sizes were:hip (41in/104cm), waist (32in/81cm), bust (37in/94cm).

The dress has been dry-cleaned as well and looked unused. No flaws on it at all.
