The Dress

This dress made me feel like a princess!

It's a Georgette fabric which is a sheer, lightweight crêpe fabric. It has old lace on tulle over the bodice, low illusion lace back and chapel length train.

It's hard to describe how beautiful the train is. It was and still is my favourite part of the dress - it looks unbelievable in the photos.
I wore the dress for about 6 hours and I was so comfortable the whole time. If you are concerned about the train being too long, don't worry any further!! I added four hooks for it to be bustled, and the way the hooks are positioned creates such a nice look at the back with the all lace hanging. If that doesn't work for you, the train also has a strap so you can wear it around your wrist.

Alterations

I had the dress tailored to my body shape because my waist is smaller then my hips - I am in between a AU 10 - 12. Having said that the fabric naturally breaths, so once worn for a little while it stretches slightly. There are size 10D cups sewed into the bodice that can be very easily removed and replaced with the size that you need. I am 165cm tall, so I had the bodice made a bit shorter to fit my torso as well as the length.
