The Dress

I am selling this gorgeous dress that I love so someone else can enjoy it as much as I have. It has a fitted bodice with a great tulle skirt that has 3 layers of soft tulle over a soft satin fabric. The back is absolutely stunning and I received a million compliments. The dress has been worn once, to our wedding.

It is currently hanging safely in a cool, dry place (in Tucson, Arizona, USA).

It did suffer one minor casualty (possibly due to someone's high heel on the dance floor); a 11 cm (5in) tear in the top layer of tulle is present. The tear is not significantly noticeable due to the several layers and the way the fabric folds over itself; could be sewn together and would hide nicely. (I didn't notice it until my sister pointed it out to me, so if it is sewn well it will be hard to see). The tear is ~5.5cm (~2in) from the bottom of the dress, on the right hand side of the dress.

I am also willing to sell the veil if you are interested in that. (Earrings too since they're definitely "bridal" and couldn't really be worn for anything else...willing to throw those in for free.)

Alterations

This dress was shortened for my height and a bustle was added. No alterations were made to the bodice. The last photo shows the dress once it has been bustled. It was a very easy to use bustle and I'm happy to send more pictures of it and show you exactly how it works. I also removed one of the layers of netting in the bottom of the skirt so it wouldn't be quite so "puffy", per my own preference. The layer was removed at the seam and I still have it, I can include it with the dress if you would like to have the option of adding it back onto the dress.
