A truly beautiful vintage fishtail style designer wedding dress with matching veil and hairband/tiara, by Benjamin Roberts. This dress was everything I was looking for in a wedding dress. Soft and romantic with halter neck, and sexy with the deep low v-back - perfect! The dress alone cost me £1,250 from a stunning boutique, and I also bought there the matching veil and tiara / hairband which cost £270.00 plus the fishtail underskirt which cost an additional £90.00. So a total of £1,610 - pricer than I wanted to pay but as soon as I'd seen this I just knew it was 'the one'.

I'm a size 10/12, and had the dress slightly altered around waiste but hardly anything and nothing was altered on the length and I'm 5ft 5, and worn a 3 heel shoe. I think they ordered a size 12 because of it being figure hugging, but because they nipped in the sides I can't see what the original size tag read. This was ordered in for me on a 11 month waiting list and was not a shop sample.

I'd ideally like to sell these all together because they match perfectly.

I haven't had the dress dry cleaned yet after our wedding but have enquired about this already and who ever will buy this dress I would have it professionally dry-cleaned in a specialist dry cleaners for wedding dresses, even though the dress is very clean indeed - I even surprised myself how clean I managed to keep it but obviously would get it dry cleaned to freshen it up. I must mention that there is a slight tear at the bottom of the dress because of the soft tulle fabric being fragile but I would also have this mended by a seams mistress for you.

The dress is the gold colour, but I would say it looks like an ivory colour. The beadwork is simply gorgous and in the evening the dress just sparkled. I'm very reculant to sell the dress, but I would much prefer for another bride to be to have the opportunity of having such a beautiful dress but not having to pay the full price tag, if I could have found a dress like this one second hand I certainly would of jumped at the chance.
