What makes this dress special and different?
I would say it is the hand made French Chantilly lace that was used in creating a simplistic yet sophisticated Vintage feel which was the theme of our wedding.
To add to the Vintage theme is the slightly off white or ivory color of the fabric used instead of a stark white. The fine pearl beading on the bodice adds a bit of glamour and shine which can be beautifully pared with pearl earrings for a more elegant look.
Around the bottom of the dress we also added some Chantilly lace as shown on the third picture.
The look of this wedding dress is timeless as it was not created by looking at current wedding trends or fashion. It reflects my personality which is not flashy or attention seeking but rather speaks of simplicity and a quiet spirit, yet valuing the finer things that life has got to offer.
